Rented homes and property for homeless people will come under the microscope this week.
Private landlords from across
Preston, including a representative from the North West Landlords
Association, have been invited to a meeting of Preston Council’s
communities scrutiny panel on Wednesday.
A representative from Shelter Lancashire has also been asked to attend.
The committee is currently investigating how changes to the housing benefit system will affect people in Preston.
The meeting, at Preston Town Hall, starts at 6pm.
